Pho Tau Bay & Bijan

My teammates were gonna go Specialty’s today, but when I told them I’ll pass, they asked me where I want to go, and when I said something soup, they changed the destination to Pho Tau Bay. I feel bad >.<;; Next time, no rejecting lunch invitation >.<

Anyhow, I always order “Hu Tieu Anh Dao” with clear noodle and soup on the side at Pho Tau Bay, but today I felt like something else and ordered Beef Stew with rice noodle. Rice noodle ended up sucking up all the soup so I didn’t have much soup left, but it was still pretty good. I think next time if I order this, I’ll try it with Banh Mi (French bread). Oh, it came with cilantro, too, and it took some time to remove all those, thus rice noodle sucked up all the soup T_T

Then, we had a cake from Bijan Bakery & Cafe, for a coworker’s farewell. We actually went to House of Siam for his farewell lunch, too. I didn’t work that much closely with him, but he helped my team a lot back then when we needed Linux machines. Even after that, he always smiles and says “konnichiwa” (hello) and some other Japanese words. I wish him the best for whatever he’ll do next … :)

The cake was great. Very spongy, not too dry not too wet, not too sweet… If I wasn’t full from lunch, I would’ve gone for a second piece xD;

Other than that, I’ve been still trying to configure WordPress. This not being able to post from phone thing is frustrating… I can post it through Flickr, but if I post through Flickr, the picture doesn’t appear in the front page thumbnail and it doesn’t look good :/ One day, one day… One day I’m gonna get it to work! >.<;;

Unlazying Myself…

I finally decided to unlazy myself and started to upload a bunch of pictures on Facebook.

I could say it was my first time actually using Photoshop LightRoom extensively. The features I like:

  • Almost automatically import the pictures and file them according to the date (need some setting)
  • If you edit the folder name in LR, it gets automatically edited on HDD, too
  • Editing photos is far more easier than in the Photoshop
  • Exporting photos is far more easier than in the Photoshop as well

I used it only for very short period of time, but I’m hoping to use it more often later on.

And, with this, I’m hoping to update the blog more often as well. One of the problem I had before was me being lazy to edit the photos for blog use. Now that’s covered, I should have a better chance of keep writing the blog? We’ll see.
