365 Days – Day 51
Since I am (was) a pretty big One Piece fan, of course I went to watch One Piece anime when I went Japan last time.

Of course, what I didn’t realize was that I’m not a big of anime fan in general, and so I fell asleep during the movie v__v; mottainai…

I wanted to bring back this stackable mug cups..
One Piece seemed to be pretty popular in Taiwan as well.

Chopper

I am lazy to translate it now, but this is totally what Gin-san would say xD
365 Days – Day 50
Engrish ってのは、非英語ユーザーが英語を書くときに知らずに使っている奇妙な言い回しを使うのを揶揄したもので、それの日本語版も負けずにいろいろあるのさ。
Engrish

Japanish?

I guess this is more of a common mistake…

I tried to make out of the sentence with correct grammar, but I failed.

How, how… how would anyone name any food “kuso”… orz. Maybe the shop owner is a Sanji fan. (Kuso means shit in Japanese.)
ps. This is becoming more of just random picture posting, rather than having some kind of theme and post good pictures for 365 days… T_T Need to go take more pictures!!
365 Days – Day 49
Last of the food series!
When my mom and I were watching TV, they were introducing how to make potstickers really quick. We were not fully paying attention, decided to give it a try from our memory.

We followed my mom’s usual ingredients since we didn’t write down any of the measurements, but added shrimp because TV mentioned it.

Ready for super quick potsticker creation??

TA DA!!!
… orz. TV said that since it has shrimp in it and shrimp has some sticky stuff, it will keep this shape without the ingredients falling out of the skin… Let’s see…

It still looks good at this point…

…but yeah, simply put, it was a disaster.

We ended up wrapping them in our usual way.
Lessons learned: you get for what you paid (your effort) for.
365 Days – Day 48
I got to visit my jr high school friends at one time.

She takes care of her home really well. I got so many ideas from her to improve mine, … except that I don’t think I’m patient enough like her to do anything x_x She made the placemat in this picture. Simple, but very nice.

When people eat curry in Japan, they usually serve salad with it. I think I did that once in the States, and my husband said that’s so weird… D:

Putting raw egg in curry. This was something new o.o; Maybe I’ll try it next time.

She offered me to put cheeze in it, and I liked it a lot.

Yummy curry :9

Our the other friend brought cake for us for dessert.

Anyone want some?
365 Days – Day 47
Is it time to rename my blog to food blog? o:)
I love eating snacks, and this time was no exception.

It was school entrance exam season, so a lot of snacks were geared toward that. Sakura is often referred to passing the exam, or entering school… so I saw a lot of sakura-flavored snacks and other food.

These are from Beard Papa. I didn’t get to eat it in Japan, but later when I met up with a friend in Taiwan, we tried it. Outside was so crispy and inside just melted me.

Japan now has Coldstone as well. We got … I think it was tiramisu and chestnut ice cream. Do we have this flavor in the States?
